PRESIDENTIAL HOUSING SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of ROTC Presidential Housing Scholarships are available to ROTC students in accordance with the requirements below.
1. The student must be accepted to and enroll in the ROTC Program by August 11, 2008.
2. The student must complete a ROTC Presidential Housing Scholarship application and submit it to Major Diaz at diaz@uta.edu by August 11, 2008.
3. The student must complete an online housing application at www.uta.edu/housing and submit it to University Housing by August 11, 2008.
a. The candidate must indicate “Trinity Hall” as their preferred housing location and indicate “ ROTC “ in the remarks section of the application.
b. ROTC Presidential Housing Scholarships are only available for eligible ROTC students living on the Third Floor of Trinity Hall.
4. If a ROTC Presidential Housing Scholarship is available, Housing will mail a contract offer to the student.
5. The student must return a signed Housing Contract and pay a $150 deposit to University Housing by the “Return By Date” noted on the contract. Failure to complete the requirements as outlined above will result in cancelation of the room reservation and forfeiture of the housing scholarship.
6. The student must complete the check-in requirements for the assigned housing by 5 p.m. August 24, 2008. Failure to complete the requirements as outlined above will result in cancelation of the room reservation, forfeiture of the housing scholarship, forfeiture of the $150 deposit, and other financial penalties being assessed to the student as outlined in Residence Hall Contract Terms and Conditions.

Some of the folks failed to apply for housing or did not return their contracts on time. Since housing could not confirm your room, the scholarship bed could not be granted.
I still have the waiting list for some of the folks. If something opens up I'll let you know.
