Army ROTC is one of the Nation's top leadership programs, with many benefits to joining. Through Army ROTC you can:

  • Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need.

    Army ROTC scholarships are valuable in many ways:

    • Two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree
    • Full-tuition Scholarships
    • Additional allowances pay for books and fees

    FOUR-YEAR  SCHOLARSHIPS

    The College Four-Year Scholarship is for college freshmen in their first year of a four-year undergraduate plan. Contact your Campus Military Science department for more information. To qualify, you must:

    • Be a U.S. citizen
    • Be between the ages of 17 and 26
    • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Score minimum of 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
    • Meet physical standards (Pass Army Physical Fitness Test)
    • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard)
         
     
    THREE-YEAR  SCHOLARSHIPS  

    The three-year scholarship is available for students already enrolled in a college or university with three academic years remaining.

    • Be a U.S. citizen
    • Be between ages 17 and 27
    • Have a College GPA of at least 2.5
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Score minimum 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
    • Meet physical standards (Pass Army Physical Fitness Test)
    • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

    The two-year scholarship is available for those who have two academic years of college remaining.

    • Be a U.S. citizen
    • Be between ages 17 and 27
    • Have a College GPA of at least 2.5
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Meet physical standards (Pass Army Physical Fitness Test)
    • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

    GREEN-TO-GOLD SCHOLARSHIP

     Army ROTC scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year.


    • 1st year$300 per month
    • 2nd year$350 per month
    • 3rd year$450 per month
    • 4th year$500 per month

    This allowance is also available to all non-scholarship Cadets enrolled in the Army ROTC Advanced Course (3rd and 4th year).
