The Corps of Cadets traces its heritage to the Carlisle Military
Academy, which was founded on the current grounds of the University of
Texas at Arlington in 1902. Since then, the cadets have distinguished
themselves as scholars, athletes and leaders, not only in the military,
but also in academia, government, and business.
 |
Today the tradition continues,
the cadets remain an integral part of the university
life, participating and supporting many school
activities throughout the year.

The proud legacy of the Corps continues to be
enriched by each generation of graduates as they take
those ideals and principles and become leaders in their
chosen fields.
